The AP story was good. I take for granted that it was probably a stupid hunting accident, end of story. But Bush, Cheney and their crowd are so used to lying, spinning, stonewalling and blaming others, it just becomes habit for them. They do this stuff not because it's good strategy (unfortunately, in Karl Rove's hands, it sometimes is effective strategy) but because these are fundamentally small arrogant men. The initial blaming of the victim was a really low blow.
